Wherever you are in life, whatever you’re doing, Apartment List is on a mission to build a better world of renting for everyone - to get rid of the pain and complexity, and make it more personal, flexible, and transparent.  Who You Are We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Design Intern to join our team. This designer will empower and support the Marketing Designer, Art Director, as well as the Marketing Team, to create visually appealing and compelling marketing materials that align with our brand identity and business objectives. We’re looking for an individual who combines creativity, vision, and passion with keen attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual who is looking to gain hands-on experience and is passionate about creating a new, and better chapter in renting for all. Here is what you'll do as part of the team: Assist the design team in creating visually appealing and engaging marketing materials such as social media graphics, email templates, sales collateral, blog graphics, and other digital assets. Collaborate with the team to understand marketing goals, target audience, and brand guidelines to ensure all design work is aligned with the company's brand identity. Help develop and implement marketing campaigns, including designing promotional materials, landing pages, and ads. Conduct research on design trends and best practices to stay up-to-date with current design standards and incorporate them into marketing materials. Assist in maintaining the company's visual assets library, ensuring all design files are organized and easily accessible. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing managers, product designers, Sales team members, and project managers, to ensure a cohesive visual presence across all channels. Assist with other marketing tasks and projects as needed. Skills and experience you'll need to be successful: Currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field. Strong proficiency in design tools, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, and Google Slides. (motion graphics and animation are a plus). Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and an understanding of template-making, formatting, photography, and typography. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Duration: The internship offered for the summer of 2023 is a paid opportunity, and the start date is flexible to accommodate your summer schedule.
