Echodyne is seeking a Marketing Director to join our fast-growing team.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Echodyne is seeking a highly motivated and execution-oriented Marketing Director, Americas to lead regional marketing initiatives across defense, government, critical infrastructure, and advanced air mobility markets throughout North, Central, and South America.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth across strategic regional markets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep awareness of defense and government markets, who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative technology environment, and is comfortable balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
This position works cross-functionally with sales, business development, product management, and executive leadership teams to support long-cycle technical sales efforts and advance Echodyne’s growth objectives throughout the Americas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute integrated regional marketing programs supporting defense, federal civilian, critical infrastructure, and advanced air mobility markets across the Americas
Create and manage marketing campaigns that increase market awareness, generate qualified engagement, and support complex technical sales cycles
Lead development of customer-facing content including collateral, presentations, digital campaigns, thought leadership, case studies, event materials, and product messaging
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging tailored to customer, partner, and industry audiences
Partner closely with sales, business development, product, and sales enablement teams to align marketing initiatives with business priorities and pipeline objectives
Lead regional event strategy and execution, including trade shows, conferences, customer demonstrations, and partner engagements
Support partner and ecosystem marketing initiatives with channel, technology, and strategic alliance partners
Oversee digital marketing execution across web, email, outbound campaigns, and related demand generation activities
Manage marketing operations workflows within Salesforce Account Engagement and related CRM and automation platforms
Lead and mentor a small regional marketing team while coordinating external agencies, contractors, and vendors as needed
Monitor campaign performance, engagement metrics, and marketing effectiveness to optimize programs and resource allocation
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
10+ years of B2B marketing experience
4+ years within defense technology, aerospace, sensor, autonomy, or robotics industries
5+ years of experience leading or mentoring marketing teams in fast-paced growth environments
Demonstrated success supporting complex technical sales cycles and cross-functional go-to-market initiatives
Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, event, and partner marketing channels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience supporting field marketing initiatives and large-scale industry event execution
Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, including Salesforce Account Engagement or similar systems
Ability to operate effectively in lean, fast-moving organizations with evolving priorities
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneousl
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Experience marketing to U.S. defense, government, aerospace, autonomy, or critical infrastructure customers
Experience supporting regional or international marketing initiatives across the Americas
Background in high-growth startups or scaling technology organizations
Experience working with channel, reseller, or ecosystem partner marketing programs
Familiarity with long-cycle procurement environments and technical B2B buying processes

WHAT WE OFFER
This is an exempt role. The expected annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $210,000 USD If your skills generally align but not perfectly, please apply anyway. There may be another role that’s a great fit for you!
