We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.SUMMARY:Q2 is looking for a Senior Application Analyst for GitLab and GitHub who will work closely with key engineering users and is considered the technical subject matter expert on these systems. This person will own platform administration-from technical support through continuous platform improvements. The ideal candidate possesses strong administration experience and will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of Q2’s source repository tools.RESPONSIBILITIESConfigure, administer, and support SaaS and enterprise applications across multiple business functionsLead the evaluation, design, and implementation of application changes, enhancements, and integrationsPerform complex application setups including workflow design, table structure management, and system automationEnsure the accuracy, security, and integrity of data entered into application fields, tables, and system databasesDevelop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards using query and visualization tools to support business decision-makingManage user access, roles, and permissions in compliance with organizational and data security standardsTrain end users and provide guidance on system functionality, workflows, and best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and lead root cause analysis effortsRecommend and implement improvements to applications, configurations, and support processes to increase efficiency and user satisfactionServe as a liaison between technical teams, business units, and vendors to align system functionality with organizational goalsContribute to system documentation, support standards, and knowledge sharing across the teamEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGETypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experienceStrong knowledge of SaaS platforms and enterprise application administration, including configuration, maintenance, and optimizationDemonstrated experience with system integration, workflow design, and business process mappingProficiency in querying, data validation, and reporting using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalentExperience with user and role management, access control, and application securityStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess and solve complex technical and functional problemsProven ability to lead application-related projects and collaborate effectively across business and technical teamsExcellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesSelf-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement, system performance, and user experienceThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
