Your Role:   This role is position is for an experienced trading operations manager with automated trading and middle and back office experience. This includes leading our US spot exchange operations (Alpaca Crypto LLC) leading our Bahamas spot and derivatives exchange operations (AlpacaX Crypto Limited) building and maintaining our internal trading desk   Things You Get To Do:    You will build and manage a globally distributed team of trade ops associates providing 24/5 service coverage.   You and your team: Directly engage with our customers, providing a world-class service Review, identify and resolve trade differences Process trade corrections and cancellations Inventory account reconciliation Provide input into new procedures and processes as well as revisions to existing operations procedures and processes Manage our trading desk (internal market maker) and work with engineering to build and monitor trading systems performing automated hedging strategies Manage our global fiat banking relationships Maintain relationships with liquidity providers, token projects and all our vendors Assist with financial and regulatory audits Work closely with engineering to bring industry-leading crypto products to market   Who You Are (Must-Haves):   Experienced running middle/back office trade operations for a brokerage or crypto exchange Built and managed a globally distributed customer service focused team providing world-class 24/5 service coverage Experience trading crypto professionally Experience in US crypto regulations   Who You Might Be (Nice-To-Haves):   Quant research or have previously run a trading desk Entrepreneurial experience as co-founder / founding team of a startup Operated within a SOC 1/2 Type 2 certified environment How We Take Care of You: Competitive Salary & Stock Options Health Benefits New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500 Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card Alpaca is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
