Join us in our pursuit to defend data and protect people.How We Work:At Proofpoint you’ll be part of a global team that breaks barriers to redefine cybersecurity guided by our BRAVE core values: Bold in how we dream and innovateResponsive to feedback, challenges and opportunitiesAccountable for results and best in class outcomesVisionary in future focused problem-solvingExceptional in execution and impactWe're looking for a Senior Technical Writer to own documentation for Proofpoint AI Security Platform — spanning Access, Agentic and MCP security and enterprise AI governance. - You'll translate complex security concepts into clear, developer-friendly and practitioner-ready content for security engineers, platform teams, and AI governance stakeholders. - Own end-to-end documentation for AI runtime security features — MCP server monitoring, agentic threat detection, policy enforcement, and AI observability dashboards. - Write API reference docs, integration guides, and configuration walkthroughs targeting security engineers deploying Acuvity in cloud and hybrid environments.- Create security-focused content including threat model explainers, OWASP LLM Top 10 guidance, compliance mapping docs (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and risk findings narratives. - Partner closely with product, engineering, and security research to document new agentic capabilities at launch, including release notes, changelogs, and migration guides. - Develop and maintain customer-facing one-pagers, technical white papers, and solution briefs that explain AI governance architecture and Proofpoint integration stories. - Establish and evolve documentation standards, style guides, and toolchain (docs-as-code, versioning, AI-assisted authoring workflows).Why Proofpoint?At Proofpoint, we believe that an exceptional career experience includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
