What the Role Is
Babylist is hiring a Full-Time Showroom Host to join our Beverly Hills team. Since opening in 2023, we've welcomed expecting parents and their loved ones into a beautifully curated space to explore baby gear, build registries, and feel truly supported. We're looking for someone who is curious, empathetic, and excited to be part of our guests' journeys. This is a permanent, in-showroom position (not event-based), averaging 35–40 hours per week with additional hours during peak seasons.

2+ years in retail, hospitality, or guest service — you know how to read a room and make people feel welcome
A natural connector — you build rapport quickly and genuinely enjoy helping people make decisions
Comfortable with product knowledge — you're curious, pick things up fast, and can explain gear confidently
A team player — you show up for your teammates and contribute to a shared floor dynamic
Operationally reliable — you handle busy environments, shifting priorities, and closing tasks without being asked
Physically ready — available evenings, weekends, and holidays; able to lift 25–30 lbs and stand 8–10 hours
How You Will Make An Impact
Guest experience — greet and guide every family through the showroom with warmth and intention
Registry support — help guests build and manage Babylist registries that actually fit their needs
Product knowledge — stay current on gear, safety info, and brand standards so every recommendation lands
Showroom operations — support events, pop-ups, inventory receiving, merchandising, and keeping the floor guest-ready
Performance — meet guest satisfaction and product knowledge goals
Content support — collaborate with the social and content team on showroom moments where applicable
Feedback loop — share ideas that help improve the in-store experience over time
About Pay
We pay competitive market rates.
Starting rate for this position is $21.00 per hour
