Job Requisition ID #26WD98850Position OverviewThe Autodesk Technical Advisory consulting organization is looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic individual to join our APAC Consulting Services team as a Principal Business Consultant for construction. As a Principal Business Consultant, you will use your construction industry and technical knowledge to help our customers put innovative design, engineering, and construction solutions into real world practice.You will work directly with our most strategic customers to develop their digital and data strategies, define criteria for success, assess current processes and project performance, create business value justifications for initiatives, and prepare to implement solutions that produce meaningful business results. Providing these services will ensure customers are maximizing the value from their investment in Autodesk technologies and ensuring the success of transformational changes to their business. Reporting to the Consulting Services manager for ANZ, this is a hybrid role where you can work remotely or onsite at an Autodesk office.ResponsibilitiesWork with Autodesk’s largest customers on innovative construction solutions related to document management, data management, field workflows, handover/ turnover and moreAnalysis, improvement and implementation of processes and workflowsLead consulting engagements with customers, including discovery process to understand business challenges and requirements and document the proposed value during those engagementsContribute to task estimation and scoping including scope clarification with customersApply change management knowledge to the deployment of Autodesk solutionsCollaborate with internal account teams and customers on how Autodesk solutions fit into broader programs of workBe a 'trusted advisor' to the customerKeep updated with technology trends affecting customersRepresent Autodesk solutions at conferences, in whitepapers and blogsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in construction management or architecture / engineering (or equivalent experience)Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, with a focus on the development and delivery of digital solutionsExperience of the following construction industry processes such as Document Management / Project Management / Quality Management / Safety Management / Handover / Scheduling / Cost ManagementExcellent communication skills including experience conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering impactful presentationsAbility to drive decisions and closure on issuesProven ability to work with diverse technical, sales, and project delivery teams including breaking down complex topics into a common languageWillingness to travel 30% of the time, including international travelPreferred QualificationsAutodesk product expertise (Forma, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360)Knowledge of competitor solutions in the construction industryAdvanced experience developing and implementing workflow processes between architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and ownersExperience using Autodesk products such as Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and InfraWorksExperience driving change at the enterprise levelFamiliarity with ISO 19650An interest and experience in AI, data strategy, and data managementSalary TransparencySalary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package.
