Job Requisition ID #26WD99799Position OverviewAs a Territory Technical Specialist (TS), you play a critical role in driving revenue growth and technical sales success within Autodesk Construction. You will partner closely with Territory Sales Specialists to influence deal strategy, drive technical closure, and demonstrate how Autodesk solutions solve real customer challenges.Leveraging your AEC industry experience, you will uncover customer needs, connect solutions to business outcomes, and deliver high-impact, story-driven engagements. You will help customers reduce risk, improve predictability, and increase efficiency across the construction lifecycle.This is a remote role. Candidates must be located in the Western half of the United States and will report to the Manager of Technical Sales. ResponsibilitiesPartner with Sales Specialists to close new business and expand existing accountsDrive technical closure by ensuring customer confidence in Autodesk solutionsParticipate in deal strategy, pipeline reviews, and account planningLead or support customer discovery to understand workflows, challenges, and success criteriaDeliver story-driven demonstrations that connect Autodesk solutions to business outcomesAdapt messaging for different stakeholders, including executives, project teams, and field usersIdentify and support expansion opportunities within existing accountsBuild trusted advisor relationships with customers and internal teamsCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teamsEnsure smooth transition from pre-sales to deployment and long-term customer successShare best practices and contribute to team enablement and knowledge sharingMentor peers and support internal initiatives that improve technical sales effectivenessMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in the AEC industry (Construction preferred)Experience in roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Foreman, or similarExperience with SaaS technology and/or technical sales environmentsAbility to translate complex workflows into clear business outcomesStrong presentation, communication, and storytelling skillsExperience working with both technical users and executive stakeholdersAbility to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environmentWillingness to travel up to 30% for customer and internal meetingsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Autodesk Forma or similar platformsFamiliarity with construction workflows across preconstruction, execution, and closeoutExperience delivering customer-facing presentations or demosBackground in digital transformation or construction technology adoptionLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $126,200 and $226,160. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
