Job Requisition ID #26WD99426Position OverviewThe Autodesk Interactive Graphics Solutions group is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to develop world-class commercial web applications used by construction companies to increase efficiency and reduce the high amount of waste produced during construction. If you are a Senior Software Engineer proficient in web application development and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced team with state-of-the-art technologies, we would love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesContribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and continuous improvement Translate high-level product requirements into iterative, customer-facing enhancements Design and develop solutions with clear system boundaries and scalability considerations across components and servicesEvaluate and make informed trade-offs across components and services, balancing performance, complexity, and long-term maintainability Contribute to architectural decisions that shape extensibility, scalability, and cross-product integrations Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, and Engineers across distributed teams Lead root-cause analysis for production issues, implement durable fixes and preventative improvementsElevate code quality through rigorous code reviews, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD improvements Mentor developing engineers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence and accountability Actively participate in Agile delivery, providing accurate estimates and proactively managing technical risksLeverage AI tools and modern engineering productivity techniques in daily workflowsMinimum Qualifications5+ years solid hands-on frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and ReactIn-depth understanding of JavaScript internals and fundamentalsExperience with state management solutions such as Redux, MobX or React QueryProficient experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest and CypressFamiliarity with bundling tools such as Webpack and RsbuildExperience building scalable, high-performance applications with attention to reliability and maintainabilitySolid understanding of web application architectures, APIs, and service-oriented systemsHands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflowsExperience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software qualityExperience working on agile software projects with short release cyclesExcellent problem-solving abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAvailable for on call work (on a rotation basis)Bachelor of Science or higher degree in computer science or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with 2D/3D visualization systems or graphics technologies (WebGL/WebGPU)Exposure to backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, C#) in distributed or service-oriented architectures Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure technologiesExperience facilitating Agile ceremonies or serving in a Scrum leadership capacityThe Ideal CandidateA proactive, curious engineer who stays current with emerging tools and technologiesComfortable working in cross-functional teams of local and remote peersResults-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple prioritiesStrong advocate for engineering excellence and continuous improvementCollaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersValues in-person collaboration and actively leverages office interactions to strengthen team relationships, mentoring, and decision-making#LI-AC1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
