HP needs experienced software leaders to help define and build the future of our customers through experiences that amaze our customers and users.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Expert Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex, customer-facing software programs delivered at scale, with a strong focus on AI-driven and computer vision–enabled solutions. This role partners across Engineering, Product, QA, Security, and external partners to drive predictable delivery, ensure release readiness, and uphold enterprise standards.You will operate with high autonomy, managing multiple concurrent programs while influencing cross-functional teams and leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and brings structure, clarity, and execution discipline to large-scale software delivery—particularly in AI and data-driven product ecosystems.What You’ll Do (Key Outcomes)Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex software programs, including AI/ML and computer vision–based initiatives, with predictable execution and on-time releasesDrive alignment across Engineering, Product, QA, Security, and Operations to ensure seamless deliveryManage program scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks across distributed teams and partnersEnsure release readiness, including quality gates, compliance, and stakeholder alignmentPartner with external vendors to coordinate deliverables and resolve execution challengesProvide clear, data-driven insights to leadership to support decision-making and risk mitigationContinuously improve program execution, release processes, and operating rhythms to increase quality and efficiencyScope & ImpactInfluence delivery of high-visibility software across multiple platforms and customer segments, including AI-powered and computer vision–enabled experDirectly impactiences delivery predictability, product quality, compliance, and customer experienceOperate across globally distributed teams, multiple business units, and external partnersAct as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on program health, risks, and strategic trade-offs in AI and software deliveryWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications7–10+ years of experience in technical program or project management within software organizationsProven track record delivering complex, cross-functional software programs at scaleStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), release management, and agile practicesSolid understanding of AI/ML concepts, with exposure to computer vision systems and data-driven applicationsExperience managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholders in highly matrixed environmentsExperience working with globally distributed teams and external partnersStrong communication, prioritization, and decision-making skillsPreferred QualificationsDeep familiarity with AI/ML systems, including model lifecycle (training, validation, deployment, monitoring) and computer vision use casesExperience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments (e.g., security, privacy, enterprise governance)Familiarity with modern delivery practices and metrics (e.g., Agile, Jira, release dashboards, DORA metrics)PMP or equivalent program/project management certificationEnvironment & Ways of WorkingFast-moving, highly collaborative environment with cross-functional ownershipEmphasis on predictable delivery, data-driven decisions, and “no surprises” communicationFocus on continuous improvement, modern SDLC practices, and scalable program executionIncreasing adoption of AI-first development and intelligent, data-driven product experiencesWhy Join UsWork on high-impact software programs that reach customers at scaleInfluence how modern software is delivered across a complex, global organizationPartner with experienced leaders across Engineering, Product, and DesignOpportunity to shape and evolve program management practices in an AI-driven transformation environmentDisclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
