The role will be responsible for preparing complex journal entries and reviewing journal entries prepared by analysts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies.The Senior Analyst will also support month-end close activities, account analysis, reconciliation, automation and process improvements. The position is expected to provide technical guidance to analysts.Cash and IntercompanyPrepare and review cash and intercompany-related journal entries, and other related month-end close activities.Coordinate with regional teams and stakeholders to resolve cash and intercompany issues on time.Prepare cash and intercompany reports and analysis as needed.Fixed Assets AccountingSupport the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, transfer, intercompany, and disposal.Ensure compliance with capitalization policies, useful life standards, and asset/spend category tagging guidelines.Prepare and review fixed asset-related journal entries, reconciliations, reports, and analysis.Support review of invoices with fixed asset spend category tagging and correct classification.Support timely and accurate month-end closing of fixed asset sub-ledgers.PrepaymentsSupport recognition and amortization of prepayments.Ensure proper classification, monitoring, and reconciliation of prepaid accounts.Prepare and review prepayment-related journal entries, reports, and analysis.Support timely and accurate month-end closing of prepayment accounts.Controls, Compliance and Process ImprovementSupport internal control procedures related to cash, intercompany, fixed assets, and prepayments.Support audit and SOX documentation requirements.Identify reconciling items, control gaps, and process issues, and recommend action plans.Drive process standardization, improvements and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.Participate in system, automation, and reporting improvement initiatives.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
