This role oversees all aspects of chemical handling, including procurement support, receiving, storage, distribution, point-of-use delivery, inventory control, and hazardous waste collection and disposal.The position ensures strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards while maintaining full traceability, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness to support 24/7 fab operations.Key ResponsibilitiesChemical & Material Lifecycle ManagementManage chemicals and materials from procurement through final disposal, ensuring full lifecycle accountabilityReceive, inspect, and verify incoming chemicals against purchase orders and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Label, store, and handle chemicals according to compatibility and hazard classificationsDeliver chemicals to production areas, ensuring safe transport and proper documentationMonitor chemical usage and maintain accurate inventory levelsInventory & Documentation ControlMaintain real-time inventory tracking systems for all chemicals and materialsEnsure proper labeling, barcoding, and traceability of all materialsManage SDS documentation and ensure accessibility and complianceSupport cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepanciesHazardous Waste ManagementCollect, segregate, label, and store hazardous waste in accordance with regulatory and site requirementsCoordinate with certified waste vendors for timely and compliant disposalMaintain waste manifests, logs, and cradle-to-grave documentationEnsure proper handling of chemical waste streams, including acids, solvents, and toxic materialsSafety & ComplianceAdhere to all EHS policies, including OSHA, EPA, and local/state regulationsFollow HAZWOPER guidelines and site-specific hazardous material proceduresUtilize appropriate PPE and enforce safe handling practicesParticipate in safety audits, inspections, and incident response as requiredIdentify and escalate safety risks or non-compliance issuesOperational SupportSupport production teams with chemical availability and readinessAssist with chemical delivery systems, bulk chemical distribution, and gas monitoring systems as neededCollaborate with Facilities, Engineering, and EHS teams to support site operationsAssist in continuous improvement initiatives related to chemical handling and efficiencyQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience in chemical handling, material management, or manufacturing supportKnowledge of hazardous materials handling and chemical safety practicesAbility to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict protocolsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift and move materials in accordance with safety guidelinesPreferredExperience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech industryHAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain)Familiarity with chemical inventory systems and tracking softwareKnowledge of chemical delivery systems and gas monitoring systemsForklift or material handling equipment certificationWork EnvironmentSemiconductor cleanroom and chemical storage areasExposure to hazardous chemicals requiring strict adherence to safety protocolsUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators, gloves, and chemical suitsMay require standing, walking, lifting, and working in confined or controlled environmentsSupport of a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including shift work as neededKey CompetenciesSafety-first mindsetAttention to detail and accuracyAccountability and ownershipStrong communication and teamworkAbility to follow procedures and regulatory requirementsAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is USD 24.00 - USD 29.00 per hour.
