This is a pivotal role responsible for designing and delivering a best-in-class events programme that deepens our connection with sellers across the UK and drives forward our marketplace strategy.You will lead a team of two direct reports and seasonal event staff as well as working with our agency team,  being responsible for the full events calendar from concept through to execution  with a sharp eye on cost efficiency, operational excellence, and continuous innovation.What You Will Accomplish ...Lead and develop the Seller Events team, including two direct reports and seasonal support staffLead the UK seller events strategy, ensuring every event connects meaningfully to broader marketplace goalsThink innovatively about how events can be used as a strategic tool — not just for engagement, but to influence seller behaviour, drive adoption, and build communityActively seek cost efficiencies and optimise resources, ensuring high-impact events are delivered within budgetRun agency partners and external suppliers effectively, driving value and maintaining high standardsBuild strong relationships with sellers, understanding their needs and translating those insights back into the businessCreate new event formats and playbooks not just iterating on what exists, but genuinely reimagining how we connect with sellersEmbed a culture of learning and iteration, using data and feedback to constantly improve the events programmeCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure events amplify wider company prioritiesWhat You Will Bring...Proven experience leading events programmes at scale, ideally within a marketplace, platform, or eCommerce environmentA strategic thinker who understands how events connect to commercial outcomesStrong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving cost efficienciesExperience working with agencies and external partners to deliver operationally excellent eventsA curious, creative mindset  someone who challenges existing formats and brings fresh thinking to how events are structured and deliveredStrong people leadership skills with experience managing and developing teamsDeep understanding of how marketplaces work and what matters to sellersHighly organised and able to operate effectively in a fast-moving environmentAdditional DetailseBay is an equal opportunity employer.
