It includes coordinating sellers, commercial trading, incentives, and seller marketing activity. The role focuses strongly on profitable GMV growth and delivering an outstanding seller experience. The role is highly strategic and hands-on, operating in a matrix with global functions while being the regional reference point for professional sellers in France and Italy. You will report directly to the C2C & Seller success director, and have a small team to run.What you will accomplishResponsible for B2C seller portfolio management and performance in French and Italian markets. Develop strategy, segmentation, and performance framework for all B2C sellers. Ensure growth plans are defined by segment and category.Represent FRIT B2C sellers in global forums, crafting roadmaps, policies and experiences that unlock growth for commercial vendors while balancing risk, trust and compliance.Build and lead a small, high-performing cross-functional pod (dotted-line) across trading, seller marketing, and account management. Ensure clarity of priorities, operating rhythm, and accountability on important metrics such as GMV, revenue, active sellers, and NPS/CSAT.Act as a senior point of escalation and thought partner for country/category leaders on B2C topics (e.g., performance issues, category opportunities, competitive moves), turning issues into structured action plans.Drive continuous improvement of seller journeys and processes across the French and Italian markets. Partner with Product, GCX, Risk, Finance, and Legal to simplify, scale, and standardize where it makes sense. Preserve local strengths.What you will bring10+ years of experience in e-commerce/marketplaces, top-tier consulting, or commercial / trading roles, with a consistent record of driving revenue and margin through data-led decision making and experimentation.Demonstrated experience leading multi-country or multi-market portfolios, ideally including France and/or Italy, and working effectively in a global matrix environment.You demonstrate strong commercial and trading competence, including owning GMV and margin levers. You craft incentives and promotions and develop marketing programs. You also evaluate return on investment for channels and segments.Proven ability to translate insights into action: you can structure ambiguous problems, size opportunities, run tests and iterate quickly with clear success metrics.Proficiency in Italian OR French AND in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.Based in France or Italy, with the ability to travel between markets and to eBay hubs as needed.A self-starter, highly autonomous and hands-on leader who is comfortable operating with limited structure, setting direction and building momentum across teams without formal authority.Strong collaborator management and communication skills, able to simplify complex topics, influence senior leaders and align diverse teams around a clear plan.Deep alignment with eBay’s purpose and values – customer-obsessed, ethically grounded, inclusive, collaborative and committed to encouraging financial access for everyone.#LI-SI1#LI-HybridAdditional DetailseBay is an equal opportunity employer.
