This role works closely with business leaders to evaluate and enhance security compliance, ensuring it aligns with industry standards while meeting business requirements. This ensures the flawless protection of our users' data!What you will accomplish:Lead security compliance audits and assessments, identifying gaps and driving remediation to strengthen security practicesCollaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to balance compliance requirements with business prioritiesDevelop and implement remediation programs to address non-compliant areas and improve overall security postureProvide actionable insights and recommendations through regular reporting to teams and senior collaboratorsSupport adoption of new security controls and standards by guiding teams through implementation and transition strategiesContribute to the evolution of eBay’s security compliance program by identifying process improvements and applying industry guidelinesCoordinate audit and compliance activities across teams, ensuring alignment and efficient executionWhat you will bring:7+ years of experience in security and compliance, ideally within eCommerce, payments, or technology environmentsFamiliarity with industry frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or similarExperience managing third-party audits, including coordinating evidence collection across teamsSolid grasp of security measures, threats, and regulatory requirements within a worldwide organizationWorking knowledge of networking, encryption, authentication, cloud and application security, and payment infrastructureAbility to operate across both strategic and operational levels in a fast-paced environmentClear communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across diverse teams and collaboratorsAdditional DetailseBay is an equal opportunity employer.
