The Consignment Manager is responsible for sourcing high end Sports Collectibles, placing them into auction and handling communications from beginning of sale to end. A strong knowledge of the subject matter is required. High end sales experience and/or prior Sports Collectibles work related experience is a plus. What you will accomplish:Grows a book of business and meets quarterly goalsReview leads, create opportunities and initiates contracts in Salesforce and Juro as part of the sales lifecycleEvaluates a wide range of collectibles across categories, with deep knowledge in a specific categoryAuthenticates items (ability to identify counterfeit vs. authentic items) to filter out items inappropriate for consignmentWorks with other consignment directors to estimate value of consigned inventory and set starting price, auction placement, which auction, etc.Communicates with potential consignors through phone, email and social mediaTravels to consignors to review and/or pick up inventoryAttends trade shows on behalf of GoldinKicks off operational processes for consigned inventory and ensures items are managed in alignment with consignor expectationsDetermine authentication approach, work with authentication team to execute and keep consignor informed throughoutPartner with Content team to promote items during an auction and communicate records post auctionUnderstand current events, industry trends, the hobby, competition and use that to optimize price realization for their consignorsProvides "white glove service" end-to-end for consignorsOffers advice to consignors to help them maximize price realizationReviews auctions and follows up to ensure their products are placed in the correct auctions with the correct titles, opening bids, authentication and descriptions What you will bring:Demonstrated expertise and passion for Sports Collectibles, including at least 4 years of experience in the broader hobby or collectibles industryExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in verbal and written formats for client and team engagementStrong organizational and prioritization abilities, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProficiency with Salesforce, Excel, email, and industry-standard digital toolsProven ability to identify authentic and counterfeit collectibles, ensuring accuracy and integrity in consignmentAbility to travel regularly for trade shows (including international)Ability to travel regularly to meet consignorsBachelor’s degree preferred; open to candidates with equivalent experience or alternative qualifications that support success in this roleAdditional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:-Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
