Learn more at flexera.comWe are seeking a Billing Manager for our Bangalore-India Office who will be responsible for leading end-to-end billing operations with a strong focus on consumption-based billing (Direct & Marketplace), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all billing activities. This role requires hands-on expertise in NetSuite, reconciliations, reporting, and people leadership, along with the ability to manage cross-functional communication and support month/quarter-end close activitiesBilling Operations & AccuracyManage consumption-based billing processes, including both Direct and Marketplace billing modelsEnsure all billing validations and control checks are performed to maintain high levels of accuracyPerform reconciliations between Marketplace billing data and NetSuite billing outputs, identify variances, and drive resolutionReview invoices and ensure adherence to company policies and contractual termsDrive continuous improvement in billing workflows and automationPerform daily analysis, exception review, and system reconciliations to ensure accurate reportingCreate and maintain reports, dashboards, and saved searches in NetSuite to support business needsDevelop and execute ad hoc queries and analysis for business insights and decision-makingTrack and manage billing-related emails/queries, ensuring timely and professional responsesPartnership with FP&A / GTM Ops for forecasting, accruals, and revenue visibility.Take full ownership of billing controls & ensure smooth month-end and quarter-end close cycles with no delays or escalationsIdentify and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiativesQualifications & RequirementsEducation & ExperienceCA / CPA / CMA with 7+ years of experience, ORM.Com / MBA (Finance) with 10+ years of relevant experience.SuiteBilling or Marketplace tooling experience is a plusStrong experience with NetSuite (preferred) and exposure to Salesforce.com is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience in consumption-based / usage-based billing environmentsShould be able to manage team size of 4 to 5 direct reportsCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills (email communication is critical)Proven people management and leadership experienceAbility to handle complex billing scenarios and reconcile large datasetsAbility to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced, global environmentSelf-starter with strong ownership mindset and accountabilityPreferred AttributesExperience with Marketplace billing (AWS/Azure etc)Exposure to subscription billing tools (e.g., SuiteBilling)Experience working in a multi-entity / international environmentFlexera is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
