This is a customer‑ and partner‑facing sales and technical role within the Sales organisation. The SE’s primary responsibility is to support the sales team with technical expertise and to provide deep technical knowledge of F5 solutions to customers. To be effective, an SE must have strong technical skills and in‑depth knowledge of both F5 products and the ecosystem in which we operate. Fear not—we provide training and certification to ensure these critical skills are continuously developed.The high‑level objective of the role is to achieve assigned sales targets by selling relevant F5 solutions and products aligned with customers’ business needs, in partnership with the Sales Account Manager. From the customer’s perspective, the SE is a trusted adviser who proactively learns and understands technical and business challenges and proposes effective solutions to mitigate concerns and deliver value.
