As an Algolia Install Base Account Executive, you will own and grow a portfolio of existing customers, driving retention and expansion across your install base. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, uncover new opportunities, and ensure customers realize measurable value from Algolia’s platform. This role requires a strategic approach to account management, aligning Algolia’s solutions to customer goals to deepen adoption and drive revenue growth. You will partner closely with Customer Success Managers, Renewal Account Executives, and Customer Success Engineers to deliver a seamless customer experience and proactively address risk and opportunity. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment, operates with autonomy, and brings a consultative approach to growing customer relationships. You will be expected to navigate ambiguity, define your own approach, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve our go-to-market motion. YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF: Own and manage a large portfolio (roughly 200 accounts) of existing Commercial customers, with accountability for retaining and growing recurring revenue across your install base Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business objectives, use cases, and success criteria to proactively identify expansion (upsell and cross-sell) opportunities Act as the primary commercial point of contact for your accounts, building strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers Drive account planning and execution strategies that align Algolia’s solutions to customer goals, ensuring customers extract maximum value from their existing feature set Lead commercial conversations including renewals, pricing discussions, and expansion opportunities within your install base Partner closely with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Support, and other cross-functional teams to proactively address customer needs, remove blockers, and deliver a seamless customer experience Monitor account health and usage signals to identify risks early, taking action to prevent churn and mitigate contraction Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management for your book of business, with a focus on predictable revenue retention and growth Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by bringing insights, best practices, and a consultative approach aligned with Algolia’s position as a leader in search and discovery YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE: 4+ years in a B2B SaaS sales or account management role, with ownership of renewals and expansion revenue A strong customer-first mindset with a genuine interest in building long-term relationships and helping customers succeed Experience managing and growing a book of business (e.g., Account Management, Customer Growth, Renewals, or Account Executive roles with install base focus) Proven ability to identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts Strong collaboration skills and the ability to effectively engage cross-functional partners to solve customer challenges Comfort operating in a high-growth, dynamic environment, with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts while maintaining attention to detail and prioritization NICE TO HAVE: Experience with SaaS, APIs, or developer-focused products Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based business models Background working with eCommerce or digital experience platforms #LI-Remote Algolia does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. The annual total cash compensation range (base salary and commission) for this role reflects market pay data within this location. The exact compensation offered for this role may vary depending on specific location and job-related knowledge, technical skills, and experience; and is only one part of our Total Rewards philosophy to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
