This is a hands-on individual contributor role responsible for frontend architecture while also contributing to backend-for-frontend and integration layers.The role partners closely with engineering leadership and existing technical leads and does not include direct people management.Responsibilities:Provide architectural leadership across frontend and full stack web applicationsDesign, build, and maintain scalable solutions using Next.js, React, and TypeScriptLead implementation of server-side rendering, API routes, and middlewareEstablish and enforce engineering standards and best practicesOwn complex CMS-driven and content-heavy workflowsMentor engineers and serve as a technical escalation pointCollaborate with backend, platform, product, and design teamsEnsure performance, security, accessibility, and internationalization standardsRequirements:Advanced experience with React and Next.js (App Router, Server Components)Strong proficiency in TypeScriptExperience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)Server-side rendering and edge middleware patternsHeadless CMS experience (Sanity preferred), including schema and content modelingModern styling and component architecture practicesGit-based workflows and CI/CD familiarityPreferred:CMS page builder and schema-driven rendering systemsInternationalization and localization at scaleForm workflows and enterprise integrations (CRM, marketing platforms)Monitoring and observability tools (Sentry, analytics)Design systems and StorybookAccessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1)Platform or content migrations (WordPress, CMS migrations)Qualifications:Senior-to-principal level engineering experienceProven ability to lead technically without people management responsibilitiesExperience operating in enterprise or large-scale environmentsStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsBenefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD): $121,200 - $204,258.00Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.Benefits Overview1.
