Overview Blue Yonder is seeking a Business Development Representative to support our retail verticalWhat You’ll Do: Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects and build relationships with key decision makers at targeted accountsCollect & analyze potential customer’s critical business needs and challenges, identify and qualify their budget, timelines, business pain points, and obstacles for hand off to appropriate sales individualParticipate in the sales opportunity reviews and reach out and collaborate with the appropriate Account Managers and internal stakeholdersAchieve quarterly lead generation and pipeline goals set by managementUse qualification criteria to qualify and validate inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaignsTrack relevant sales activities (eg call activity, lead qualification details, lead conversion, opportunity pipeline) to aid in maintaining communications within salesUse professional experience to overcome objections and effectively communicate Blue Yonder’s value propositions to key decision makers within target accountsActively participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for marketing Blue Yonder’s products in order to secure new accountsWhat We’re Looking For:Minimum 2 years inside sales/business development w/experience in software industryPersonable, outgoing, able to initiate conversation and communications in an engaging mannerProven track record of high quality pipeline generation and prospecting resultsExperience working in a team sales environmentAbility to handle projects with minimal directionKnowledge of SFA/CRM/Contact Manager software required; experience with Salesforce.com a plusRetail or Supply Chain experience a HUGE plusSuperior verbal and written communication skills*LI-HB1#LI-HYBRID-------------------------------------------The base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $70,000 plus commissionThe salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
