This analytics pro will leverage data to advise where we focus incentives, seller acquisition efforts, buyer programming, retention/loyalty, and where we should execute our strategy across the entire EU collectibles portfolio. This role’s remit encompasses critical analytics work that will inform strategy and operational day-to-day decision making within one of eBay's most passionate and rapidly expanding categories. We are looking for someone to enable strategy execution. You will support initiatives ranging from analyzing data to understanding what is eBay’s next focus area to optimizing existing operations. You will also partner with the category managers within EU Collectibles, the wider global Collectibles teams, the Product and Technology teams, and other business teams on different initiatives. This role requires someone who has the technical skills to extract and analyze data as well as develop visualizations to communicate insights in an easily digestible way.ResponsibilitiesExtract data and derive data-driven insights to inform decision makingSupport development of A/B tests related to buyer and seller trust, behavior, and inventory velocityBuild reporting dashboards and scorecardsSupport data needs for operating and strategic discussions with the Collectibles leadership teamSupport the development of executive-ready presentations on strategy and operational updatesWork cross-functionally with peer analytics partners to develop comprehensive tools and business recommendationsQualificationsExperience:5-7 years in analyticsTechnical requirements:Advanced SQL coding (+ demonstrated expertise working with and pulling data from Data Warehouse)Advanced MS ExcelDemonstrated expertise developing and updating scorecards / dashboards in Tableau and MS ExcelProficient in MS Powerpoint and Google PresentationsOther requirements/differentiators:Able to thoughtfully apply detailed logic and methods to solve problems and enable decision makingAble to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partnersTrack record of presenting ideas and directions to influence others into taking desired actionsAble to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into concrete information to get resultsStrong communications, including the ability to tell a compelling story backed by dataDesire to engage with customers directly and passionate about helping eBay win!
