We are looking for a Director, Healthcare Consulting - Psychometrics to join our Clinical Outcomes Assessment (COA) team in the United States (Remote). This role will focus on building and scaling psychometric capabilities within Clarivate’s healthcare consulting practice, supporting global pharmaceutical and biotech clients. As a consulting leader, you will combine deep psychometric expertise with client delivery, regulatory alignment, and team leadership to support high-impact COA engagements and the continued growth of this offering.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field10+ years of professional experience in Healthcare or COA consulting, with a focus on psychometricsHands-on experience conducting psychometric analyses for COA instruments in clinical trial settingsDemonstrated experience applying psychometric methodologies, including Classical Test Theory, Item Response Theory, Factor Analysis, and Structural Equation ModelingExperience developing or contributing to statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and psychometric analysis plans (PAPs)Experience supporting clinical trial design related to COA endpoints and psychometric validationProficiency with statistical software used for quantitative analysis, including SAS, SPSS, and/or RIt would be great if you also have experience with…Master’s degree (MSc) or PhD in a relevant discipline such as Psychology, Applied Statistical Methods, Biostatistics, or a related fieldWorking directly with FDA and EMA expectations for COA development and psychometric validationCommunicating psychometric and statistical findings to clients and senior stakeholdersSupporting or participating in regulatory interactions related to COA instrumentsWriting or reviewing client deliverables, study reports, presentations, or manuscriptsActing as a psychometric or statistical advisor within multidisciplinary consulting teamsSupporting quantitative design and analysis for patient preference studies, including discrete choice experiments (DCEs)Conducting or supporting utility studiesWhat will you be doing in this role?Lead psychometric workstreams within COA consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality, compliant deliveryEstablish and refine standard operating procedures, tools, and workflows to support scalable psychometric servicesProvide methodological leadership across psychometric and quantitative analyses for PRO and COA projectsDevelop and review SAPs and PAPs, with input into clinical trial design and endpoint strategySelect and apply appropriate psychometric methods and ensure alignment with regulatory expectationsInterpret and translate analytical results for clients, internal teams, and senior stakeholdersContribute to client deliverables, reports, and presentations, owning psychometric and statistical contentSupport the growth of psychometric capabilities within the Healthcare Consulting practice, including mentoring and knowledge sharingCollaborate with COA leaders and consulting teams to support business development and client relationshipsRepresent Clarivate in client-facing and regulatory-related discussions as a subject matter expertStay current on developments in psychometrics, statistics, clinical trial methodology, and regulatory guidanceAbout the TeamYou will join Clarivate’s Healthcare Consulting organization within the Clinical Outcomes Assessment service line. The team partners with pharmaceutical and biotech clients globally to support COA strategy, instrument development, validation, and regulatory engagement.
