Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Life Science & Healthcare division in Barcelona.This role involves working with complex real‑world healthcare datasets and supporting analytical projects in partnership with leading MedTech organizations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with major global MedTech companies and contribute to high‑impact work across real‑world data (RWD) and real‑world evidence (RWE) initiatives.About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and AchievementsBachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field5+ years of experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences analytics, including commercial, patient, payer, KPI, or provider analyticsHands‑on experience working with Real‑World Evidence (RWE) and real‑world healthcare data such as claims, EHR, or secondary datasetsStrong expertise in handling large, complex datasets in a healthcare contextAdvanced skills in SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy, analytical/statistical libraries); strong proficiency in ExcelSolid foundation in statistical modeling and advanced analytics, including forecasting, clustering, and market mix modelingProven ability to drive analytical outcomes through strategic data integration and leadership across large‑scale data processingIt Would Be Great If You Also HadUnderstanding of the US payer and Market Access landscapeExposure to medical device data and transactional‑level datasetsExperience working with patient‑level data (APLD)Familiarity with IMS / IQVIA or similar healthcare data vendorsKnowledge of R and data visualization tools such as TableauWhat Will You Be Doing in This Role?Analyse and interpret real‑world healthcare data to support RWE studies and evidence generationApply statistical and advanced analytics to identify trends and actionable insightsBuild and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and validate large datasetsUse Python (and/or R) for data analysis, automation, and modelingPartner with product, research, and operations teams to address customer business challengesManage and curate analytical datasets for market and commercial modelingEnsure high standards of data quality, documentation, and reproducibilityCommunicate insights clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholdersContribute ideas that help shape product, data, and analytics strategyAbout the TeamThis role reports to the Manager, Healthcare Research & Data Analytics, based in India, and is part of a collaborative, global analytics team.Hours of WorkThis is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August).
