This role owns end‑to‑end services delivery for defense and government customers, with full accountability for delivery excellence, customer outcomes, and operational effectiveness.This is a hands‑on executive delivery leadership role, responsible for organizing Professional Services capabilities into a cohesive, high‑performing Solution Delivery function. The VP will ensure services are structured to sell effectively, execute predictably, and deliver value at scale.What You’ll Do/Scope:Professional Services & Solution Delivery LeadershipOwn and lead the Solution Delivery organization, with accountability for all Professional Services executionBuild organizational structure, roles, and operating models that enable scalable, repeatable delivery across defense customersDefine and execute a global professional services strategy aligned with company growth objectives and customer success outcomesEstablish services as a strategic growth engine, including revenue, margin, and customer expansion goalsDevelop scalable services offerings, delivery models, and pricing strategiesDelivery Excellence & Customer OutcomesOwn end-to-end delivery of all professional services engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budgetDrive consistent, high-quality implementation methodologies and delivery standards across all engagementsChampion customer success by ensuring measurable business outcomes and high satisfaction across the client lifecycleEnsure delivery teams are set up to succeed from deal handoff through execution and post‑go‑live supportAct as senior escalation leader for complex delivery issues, driving resolution and sustained customer trustOperational Rigor, PMO & Performance ManagementEstablish and mature PMO standards, governance, and delivery discipline across programsEnsure best‑in‑class program management practices are consistently applied across customer engagementsDrive predictability, transparency, and accountability in delivery executionTeam Leadership & Talent DevelopmentBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing global professional services organizationDevelop leadership capabilities within the team and create a strong succession pipelineFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellenceBuild, lead, and develop top‑tier program managers, delivery leaders, engineering, and QA teamsEstablish clear accountability, performance standards, and career paths within the Solution Delivery organizationFoster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and delivery excellenceServices Enablement & Sales PartnershipPartner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships to ensure alignment across the customer journeySupport pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, and SOW developmentProvide structured feedback to Product teams to influence roadmap based on client needs and implementation insightsEnsure delivery capabilities, costing assumptions, and capacity planning align with how services are positioned and soldEnable a smooth operating model between sales, deal scoping, and delivery execution (without owning services sales directly)What We’re Looking For:Required Qualifications15+ years of experience in professional services, solution delivery, or consulting organizations within enterprise software or SaaS environments10+ years of senior leadership experience managing large, global, and distributed delivery teamsProven track record of scaling professional services organizations and delivering complex, enterprise-level implementationsDeep experience leading PMO functions, program managers, and customer‑facing delivery teamsStrong executive judgment in balancing delivery quality, customer trust, and operational executionStrong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, budgets, and margin optimizationPreferred QualificationsActive Security Clearance OR ability to obtain a clearanceExperience delivering enterprise implementations in supply chain, retail, manufacturing, logistics, or related industriesStrong familiarity with services delivery methodologies, resource management models, and services automation platformsExperience supporting defense, government, or highly regulated customersBackground working in custom solution delivery or mission‑critical systems environmentsExperience separating and scaling Product and Delivery organizationExecutive Leadership & Stakeholder InfluenceDemonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence senior customer and internal stakeholdersStrong communication, decision‑making, and change leadership capabilities in complex, fast‑paced environmentsAbility to lead through ambiguity, align cross‑functional teams, and drive accountability at all levels of the organization-------------------------------------------The base salary range for this position is $212,361 to $275,369 USD.The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
