Job DescriptionWhere you’ll work: Remote/ IndiaThe CPQ Configurator is a Salesforce professional responsible for designing,configuring, and optimizing Salesforce CPQ solutions as part of the GoTo BusinessApplications’ Quote-to-Cash team. This role focuses heavily on productconfiguration, pricing logic, and quote lifecycle management, while alsosupporting light custom development and integrations. The CPQ Configuratorpartners closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Engineering teams to translatecomplex business requirements into scalable, maintainable CPQ solutions.Your Day to DayAs a CPQ Configurator, you would be working onConfigure and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions aligned to business andrevenue operations requirements including:Product setup, bundles, and feature configurationOption constraints and configuration rulesPrice rules, price actions, and pricing logicDiscount schedules and approval processesContracting, amendments, renewals, and subscriptionsQuote templates and document generationTroubleshoot complex pricing and configuration issues, identifying rootcauses in rules, data, or logicSupport enhancements to existing CPQ implementations to improveusability, performance, and scalabilityProvide Apex and declarative support where necessary (e.g. triggers,classes, flows, validation rules)Collaborate with developers and architects on more complex customizationsand integrationsSupport integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems (ERP,billing, finance, order management platforms)Participate in deployment processes, including sandbox testing, UATsupport, and production releasesMaintain clear and detailed documentation for CPQ configurations, pricinglogic, and system processesEnsure compliance with security, governance, and pricing control standards.What We’re Looking ForAs a Senior Salesforce Developer, your background will look like:3-5 years of Salesforce experience, with strong hands-on experience inSalesforce CPQDemonstrated experience configuring:Product bundles and subscription modelsConfiguration and constraint rulesPrice rules and pricing methodsDiscounting logic and approvalsQuote-to-contract lifecycle processesStrong understanding of the Salesforce CPQ data model and calculation sequenceExperience administering Salesforce (users, profiles, permission sets, flows, reports, dashboards)Apex skills, including:Ability to read and understand Apex codeWrite simple Apex classes and triggersBasic knowledge of SOQL and test classesComfort supporting minor enhancements under architectural guidanceExperience supporting or participating in Salesforce integrations(REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, external systems)What We OfferAt GoTo, we believe in supporting our employees with a comprehensive range of benefits designed to fit your life—at work and beyond.
