This role ensures timely availability of engineering materials required for R&D projects while coordinating closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and outsourced manufacturing partners.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate procurement and delivery schedules to support development timelinesManage inventory of R&D materials, ensuring availability while minimizing excess and obsolescenceWork closely with internal teams to understand material requirementsTrack and control purchase orders, shipments, and supplier performanceCollaborate with outsourced manufacturing partners (e.g., OSAT, contract manufacturers) for material supply, build schedules, and WIP managementAlign material readiness to ensure smooth execution of engineering buildsExpedite urgent EBR and resolve issues with OSATQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field2–6 years of experience in SCM, procurement, or materials management (semiconductor or R&D environment preferred)Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (wafer fab, assembly, test)Experience or understanding of outsourced manufacturing models (e.g., OSAT, EMS)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilitiesProficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced R&D environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working with OSAT or external semiconductor manufacturing partnersFamiliarity with NPI (New Product Introduction) and engineering sample managementExperience handling low-volume / high-mix materialsKnowledge of BOM management and change control (ECO/ECN)Key CompetenciesStrong sense of ownership and urgencyDetail-oriented with high accuracyEffective stakeholder communication (internal & external partners)Flexibility in handling changing R&D prioritiesRisk management and proactive problem-solvingBroadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
