We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.SUMMARYQ2 is seeking a Workday HRIS Administrator who will be responsible for the administration and ongoing maintenance of the Total Rewards modules of our HRIS (Workday) systems, providing functional and technical support, updating the system to meet end-user needs, monitoring end-user usage, and perform daily administrative tasks.  The Workday HRIS Administrator is a superuser responsible for ensuring the integrity of the HCM system.RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain and administer Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Benefits modules; serve as the primary functional and technical expert for compensation cycles, benefit plans, and related configurationsManage day-to-day operations of Workday Compensation and Benefits, including merit cycles, bonus plans, equity administration and benefit open enrollmentConfigure and maintain Advanced Compensation business processes including merit, bonus, and stock plan events; manage eligibility rules, compensation grades, grade profiles, and salary structuresAdminister Benefits configuration including benefit plans, coverage types, and enrollment rulesEnsure data and system integrity across compensation and benefits data, including audits and reconciliation with payrollTroubleshoot Workday compensation and benefits configuration issues, unexpected calculation results, and process flaws; identify and resolve root causesAssist in the review, testing, validation, and implementation of new compensation and benefits modules, Workday feature releases, and functionality enhancementsDevelop end-user procedures, guidelines, training materials, and documentation specific to compensation and benefits processesReview and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits workflows, user experience, and system processesEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field5+ years of HRIS experience with a strong focus on Advanced Compensation and Benefits configuration and administrationHands-on expertise configuring Workday Advanced Compensation components: compensation plans (merit, bonus, allowance, stock), eligibility rules, compensation grades and grade profiles, compensation review cycles, and budgetingDeep knowledge of Workday Benefits administration including benefit plan setup, open enrollment events, qualifying life events, ACA reporting, and benefits carrier integrationsExperience supporting global compensation and benefits programs across multiple countries and employee populations preferredOrganized, detail-oriented, and effective communicator capable of translating technical configurations into clear guidance for HR and business stakeholdersSelf-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple compensation cycles or benefits events simultaneouslyThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
