You will own programs end to end—setting the operating cadence, aligning executives, managing scope/schedule/risk, and ensuring measurable customer outcomes for our most strategic customers. This role is highly visible and ideal for a seasoned program leader who thrives in ambiguity, influences without authority, and consistently drives programs to completion.Responsibilities: Own customer programs end to end, establishing clear goals, success criteria, and an execution plan across cross-functional teamsBuild and maintain integrated program plans (scope, schedule, dependencies, milestones) in partnership with customers and internal teamsServe as the primary customer point of contact; clarify decisions, and drive timely executionRun the delivery cadence (standups, checkpoints, executive reviews); track progress, remove blockers, and drive corrective actionsDefine, track, and report PMO metrics/KPIs that measure delivery health and customer outcomesDeliver crisp, executive-ready status updates highlighting progress, decisions needed, risks, and mitigationsOwn program risk and issue management; drive mitigation plans and escalate through PMO governance as neededDrive alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams with a strong customer-first mindsetLead escalations and executive communications; navigate tradeoffs and resolve conflicts to keep programs on trackCreate and execute stakeholder engagement and change management plans to drive adoption and sustained outcomesQualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience7+ years leading complex, cross-functional, customer-facing programs delivering enterprise software and/or hardwarePMP certificationStrength in executive stakeholder management, influence without authority, and driving decisions across competing prioritiesProven track record delivering programs on time, within scope, and aligned to customer outcomesStructured problem solver with strong analytical skills and sound judgment in ambiguous situationsHigh learning agility and comfort leading through changeAbility to travel up to 20% of the timeExperience with broadband service providers and partners (e.g., VARs, CEs, OSS/BSS)Ability to prioritize across multiple workstreams, operate independently, and lead cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive storytelling and facilitationNice-to-Have Qualifications:Working knowledge of Calix productsDomain knowledge of SaaS and networking technologies (IP, ATM, and/or TDM), switching, or transmissionOrganizational change management leadership; certification a plus (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, CSM, or equivalent)Program Management Professional (PgMP) CertificationLocation: This is a remote-based position ideally located in the United States.#LI-RemoteThe base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location.
