Support customer adoption and success with SmartBear API products including Swagger and ReadyAPI, with a focus on API virtualization, contract testing, and performance testing
Deliver technical demonstrations and solutions that showcase API design, virtualization, contract testing, performance testing, and lifecycle management
Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to solve customer challenges using modern API technologies

About the Role
Partner with Sales to deliver technical product demonstrations and proofs of concept focused on API development and testing
Assist customers in understanding how to design, document, test, and monitor APIs using SmartBear tools
Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide solutions aligned with customer environments
Support customer onboarding and enablement by delivering technical guidance and best practices
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share customer feedback and influence product improvements
Continuously build expertise in APIs, microservices architecture, and related technologies
We are looking for you if you have
2+ years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Support Engineering, or Software Development
Foundational knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON/XML data formats, API virtualization, contract testing, and performance testing concepts
Experience with API tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar platforms
Proficiency with API development and scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, and Groovy)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
A customer-first mindset with a passion for learning new technologies
Experience with cloud computing & containerized software deployments (Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, etc)

Your SmartBear total rewards compensation package includes base salary and may also include a commission.
