This role will partner closely with HR and business leaders to apply our compensation philosophy and governance framework within assigned business units, as well as provide strategic support in EMEA and APJ regions.This is a management role, requiring strong collaboration within the Compensation team and across the HR community to ensure consistent, fair, and performance-driven pay decisions.Your day to day: Business PartnershipServe as a strategic compensation partner for assigned business units across EMEA and APJ, providing consultative guidance within established philosophy and governanceCollaborate closely with HRBPs to support hiring, promotions, performance-based pay decisions, and organizational changes ensuring alignment with global governance and local market dynamicsEscalate complex or high-risk decisions appropriately, ensuring alignment with enterprise standardsProgram Execution & ImprovementLead global and regional implementation of compensation initiatives (e.g., pay transparency, job leveling, equity assessments) within defined scopeEnsure disciplined application of pay-for-performance practices across regions, reinforcing accountability and consistencyIdentify opportunities to improve processes and bring forward recommendations to scale programsTeam Collaboration & DevelopmentLead and develop assigned team members while supporting broader team capability and consistencyActively contribute to a collaborative, high-performing Compensation teamShare knowledge, standardize practices, and reinforce consistency across business unitsQualifications6–10+ years of progressive compensation experience including a minimum of 2 years prior management experience.Prior Workday advanced compensation experience preferredExperience in growth-oriented or tech environments preferredStrong analytical skills with ability to translate data into executive level business insightsTeam-oriented mindset with a willingness to support shared goals and standardsExperience designing and executing compensation frameworks in complex environmentsWhy Proofpoint?At Proofpoint, we believe that an exceptional career experience includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
