You will run discovery, design architectures, deliver compelling demos, and lead POCs and production evaluations that result in measurable outcomes.This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan.Your day-to-dayDiscovery & requirement mapping: capture business objectives, risks, current stack; define technical & business success criteria Solution architecture: design integrations across Proofpoint and the customer’s environment (M365/Google Workspace, IdP, SIEM, EDR, etc.) Value storytelling: craft messages that resonate from the SOC to the boardroom Product demos & hands-on: showcase differentiated outcomes in realistic scenarios POC leadership: plan, define success metrics, collect evidence, measure impact, and deliver recommendations Stakeholder management: facilitate alignment across IT, Security, business units, and executives Competitive positioning: articulate differentiation tied to customer priorities Feedback loop: channel market and customer insights to product, marketing, sales, and support Sales enablement: create content, playbooks, and trainings for AMs and partners Executive engagement: support briefings and risk communication at the leadership level Community & evangelism: webinars, lunch-n-learns, and conference participation Mentor new team members and institutionalize best practices Build and deliver internal trainings; curate documentation and templates Standardize solutions to common challenges (checklists, architectures, playbooks)  https://www.proofpoint.com/jp/blog/corporate-news/the-future-of-engineers-as-envisioned-by-the-Proo…What you bring to the teamExperience at a security/cloud/AI vendor or in a technical role on the customer side 6+ years in pre-sales/SE/security engineer/TAM or senior product support, with enterprise engagement Ability to lead initiatives, translate technology into business value, and influence outcomes Strong presentation and facilitation skills in Japanese; excellent documentation skills English: reading & writing for global collaboration (required); speaking is a plus Hands-on with email security, threat protection, DLP, insider threat, and cloud security (SaaS/messaging/data/network/endpoint/SOC/MSP) Technical foundation: SMTP, DNS, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, API integrations; SIEM integrations (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) #LI-ML1Why Proofpoint?At Proofpoint, we believe that an exceptional career experience includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
