The team verifies the integrity and condition of high-value apparel before it reaches buyers.As an Apparel Authentication Specialist, you will evaluate luxury and premium apparel, applying in-depth knowledge of garment construction, materials, stitching, hardware, and brand identifiers.You will work under general direction, with decisions reviewed for accuracy and consistency, while collaborating closely with operations and support teams.What You Will AccomplishAuthenticate new and pre-owned luxury and premium apparel in accordance with eBay standards, confirming authenticity and condition accuracyIdentify counterfeit indicators and document clear, evidence-based findings to support sound decisionsInspect garments for brand consistency across materials, stitching, labels, care tags, hardware, and overall constructionAdvance csophisticatedcases when necessary, applying established authentication frameworks and methodologiesMeet daily quality and productivity targets while maintaining high accuracyCollaborate cross-functionally and stay current on brand updates, seasonal releases, and counterfeit trendsWhat You Will BringExperience in luxury apparel authentication, resale, retail, or fashion quality controlStrong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, labeling, finishing techniques, and brand-specific detailsAbility to identify inconsistencies in stitching, tags, logos, hardware, and materials with strong attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings accuratelyComfort working independently within structured operational workflows in a warehouse environment, including standing for extended periods and handling productsProficiency with standard operating systems and internal toolsGerman and English language skills preferred#LI-ML1Additional DetailseBay is an equal opportunity employer.
