About the role Human Interest is seeking a high-performing Retirement Sales Activation Manager to lead a dynamic team responsible for driving efficiency, velocity, and customer satisfaction throughout the onboarding process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and has a passion for optimizing processes, managing performance, and exceeding aggressive targets. You will be accountable for hitting key performance metrics, identifying and solving operational blockers, and leading your team to consistently launch a high volume of plans while delivering an exceptional customer experience. What you get to do every day Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales activation specialists to exceed individual and team-based monthly quotas. Develop and execute strategies to drive a high volume of successful plan launches each month, in alignment with departmental KPIs and business goals. Own team performance by closely inspecting onboarding pipelines, managing pre-launch churn, and ensuring adherence to process and talk tracks. Actively monitor and optimize onboarding workflows to increase velocity, remove bottlenecks, and drive operational excellence. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Program Management, Customer Success, and senior leadership to resolve customer escalations and continuously improve the onboarding experience. Identify performance gaps within your team and implement coaching, enablement, and process improvements to drive results. Forecast onboarding targets and contribute to capacity planning by analyzing trends and pipeline health. Champion a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement while fostering a fun, energetic, and collaborative team environment. What success looks like Achieve and exceed monthly onboarding quota targets for your team. Ensure a healthy mix of plan types (e.g., Safe Harbor and Auto-Enroll) to meet internal performance benchmarks. Consistently minimize pre-launch churn by proactively identifying and resolving customer pain points. Improve onboarding cycle times and conversion rates through process optimization and cross-functional collaboration. Establish your team as a key driver of customer activation and revenue acceleration within Human Interest. Champion a culture of excellence and psychological safety, empowering the team to hit ambitious targets while feeling supported. What you bring to the role 3-5 years of total professional experience, with at least 2+ years in a people leadership role within Sales, Implementation, or a related function in a SaaS or Retirement/Financial Services environment. Proven track record of success in a quota-carrying and target-driven environment. Strong understanding of 401(k) plan design or the ability to quickly develop subject-matter expertise. Highly data-driven mindset with expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and performance coaching. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive action in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. Demonstrated ability to optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and execute against aggressive targets. Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for motivating teams, resolving conflict, and collaborating across departments. Experience managing high-volume customer portfolios and overseeing complex projects or implementations. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related discipline preferred. Compensation - At Human Interest, we consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate pay range for each position, including the cost of labor in different markets across the U.S. The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for the role described in this job posting is $140,000 - $150,000 which includes a base salary range of $100,000 - $105,000, and a variable target compensation of $40,000 - $45,000. The specific pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
