It requires strategic thinking coupled with tactical execution of identified business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing all facets of the relationship with key accounts assigned to you while ensuring revenue goals are being met. Developing opportunities across the F5 solution portfolio while effectively selling solutions and services using technical and customer knowledge to influence and build relationships, while working closely with Systems Integrators, large Service Providers and regional VARs. Read on!What You'll Do:Solution & Business SellingApplies knowledge of how technology is used to enable business goals or overcome business challenges to sell F5 solutions to the accounts assigned to youUnderstand customers’ business needs, develop application of products and services and communicate how F5’s solutions will address those needsDetermine market strategies and goals for each product and service, understanding the strategies, goals and objectives of named accountsAccount Ownership & PlanningMaintains and supports ongoing customer relationshipsPrimary point-of-contact for account/(s) and maintains contact with accounts at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationshipResponsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and proactively identifying and addressing competitive threatsResponsible for rapidly growing and retaining named accountsManage existing accounts, including maintaining account plans, creating presentation materials that are executive-facing or usable across multiple levels of the customer organization, and supporting sales forecasting activities for owned accountsDevelop and maintain detailed account profiles including organizational charts for all accounts to be reviewed by management on a quarterly basisCustomer Engagement & ExecutionParticipate in client communications and ongoing account interactionsHelp carry out account management strategies and tactics that drive continued businessResponsible for significant key partner relationship management and development.
