Your work will directly impact the development of next-generation products, from initial concept to final release. You will collaborate closely with experts in embedded electronics, acoustics, mechanical engineering, system software, radio engineering, and JDM to bring our vision to life. Lead and mentor Jr electrical engineers and JDM electrical engineers in power and analog designWhat You’ll NeedBasic QualificationsAdvanced degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of related industry experience, or BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years direct experience also consideredProficient in English in verbal and written communicationHands-on experience with complete ownership of analog and power electronics design in high volume productsThorough understanding of efficient power designs including detailed analysis of circuit and magnetics specificationDesign experience in audio amplifiers or motor driver is highly preferredKnowledge of safety and compliance standards for consumer electronic devicesStrong analytical skills, trouble-shooting skills, and system level knowledgeProficiency in creating and editing schematic and layout filesProven leadership skills including schedule management and mentoring/motivating/leading project team membersHaving worked across disciplines with mechanical, radio, acoustics, compliance, system SW, and other engineering teams including ID, UX, packaging, manufacturing, sourcing et al Technically inquisitive – must be able to take on new technical challenges and learn new technical skills on-the-fly and apply the knowledge to solve the issue at handAbility to develop and execute design validation testing plansWell-developed reporting and communication skills, including the ability to explain and summarize complicated issuesA passion for learning and a drive to achieve results.
