About the Role
The Associate IT Operations Engineer supports the reliability, performance, and day‑to‑day operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants to develop technical breadth across systems, networks, cloud platforms, security, and service operations.
You will work closely with senior engineers to maintain core operational services, respond to incidents, and assist with IT improvement initiatives. A strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including, networks, storage, endpoints, and cloud services.
Assist in incident response, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
Respond to service requests and tickets in alignment with SLAs.
Support BAU office operations, including logistics
Systems & Network Administration
Perform basic administration tasks for Windows and macOS
Assist in monitoring network connectivity, VPN, firewalls, and performance metrics.
Security & Compliance
Support vulnerability remediation and endpoint security tools.
Help maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with access reviews, system audits, and documentation upkeep.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Maintain accurate technical documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and contribute to improvements.
Participate in project work and deployments under direction of senior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or a related technical role (internships or apprenticeships accepted).
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing).
Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS administration fundamentals.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice).
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to follow structured troubleshooting steps.
Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, M365).
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Understanding of security best practices and endpoint protection tools.

Detail-oriented with a high sense of ownership.
Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Calm under pressure and able to handle multiple tasks.
