What the Role Is Babylist is hiring a Consumables & Diapering Buyer to join our growing e-commerce team. In this role, you will develop and execute business strategies and assortment plans for the high-growth Consumables and Diapering departments, aligned with divisional and company-wide goals. You will identify opportunities to grow the business while maximizing profitability and operational efficiency as we scale. You will lead strategic vendor partnerships, drive cross-functional collaboration, and work closely with teams including Inventory Management, Operations, Site Merchandising, Marketing, Content, Data, and Product. Who You Are You have 5–6+ years of experience in a retail buying or merchandising role, with demonstrated experience in e-commerce You have strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret quantitative data and translate insights into actionable strategies You have experience managing third-party vendor relationships, balancing both internal and external financial goals. The starting salary range for this role is: $104,633 to $125,595 Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.
