This role focuses on high-velocity, quota-carrying sales to mid-market organizations that are modernizing or migrating their contact centers to the cloud. You will engage prospects in consultative conversations, uncover business challenges, and align customer objectives with Genesys solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.At Genesys, we are transforming how businesses connect with their customers through empathy, AI-driven innovation, and cloud technology. Joining Genesys means becoming part of a collaborative, global team that values ownership, teamwork, and bold thinking while helping organizations deliver exceptional customer experiences.What You’ll DoOwn and manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, negotiation, and deal closureDrive net-new customer acquisition and expansion within assigned mid-market accountsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout all phases of the sales cycleConsistently meet or exceed assigned revenue and booking targetsDevelop and manage a high-quality, high-velocity sales pipelineEngage CX, contact center, IT, and business stakeholders in consultative, value-based discussionsPosition Genesys Cloud as a scalable, quick-to-value CCaaS platform that supports business transformationCollaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Partner teams to progress and close opportunitiesMaintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and forecast data within CRM systemsYou’ll bring5 to 7 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a field sales roleExperience selling contact center solutions, CCaaS, UCaaS, CX platforms, or cloud-based SaaS offeringsProven success in quota-carrying mid-market sales rolesStrong understanding of contact center operations, workflows, and key performance metricsAbility to manage multiple opportunities across short to mid-length sales cyclesDemonstrated track record of closing net-new businessPreferred QualificationsExperience selling cloud-native SaaS solutionsExposure to partner-led or channel-assisted sales motionsFamiliarity with RFP processes, pricing discussions, and commercial contractingKey SkillsConsultative and value-based selling approachStrong negotiation, objection handling, and closing capabilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsHigh level of ownership with a results-driven execution mindsetStrong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsDisciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracyIf a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Genesys® empowers more than 8,000 organizations worldwide to create the best customer and employee experiences.
