This role supports day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring inbound and outbound materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with established procedures.The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and ERP-based transaction processing.This role works a shift pattern averaging 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between Sunday and Friday. The role involves working within cold and freezer storage environments. Appropriate PPE will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inbound and outbound shipping activities with limited supervisionProcess all inbound and outbound shipments received and shipped via the Illumina Eindhoven siteGenerate shipping documentation and register, track, and transact shipments using SAP (ERP)Receive, sort, and accurately put away inbound materialsCarry out inbound and outbound receipt transactions in line with system and procedural requirementsPick and pack materials using a hand-held scannerMaintain accurate inventory records and support storekeeping activitiesBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal teamsProvide additional operational support as requiredEnsure all duties are performed in compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelinesRequirementsExperience working within a warehouse, logistics, or materials coordination cold / freezer environmentGood computer literacy, including use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP), spreadsheets, and word processing softwareKnowledge of inventory control and storekeeping proceduresAbility to perform routine calculations with accuracyStrong organisational skills and high attention to detailFamiliarity with product specifications and incoming inspection proceduresEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teamsExperience gained in a fast‑paced operational or corporate environment is preferredAdditional InformationThe responsibilities listed are essential to the role but are not exhaustive.
