We are seeking a talented senior front-end engineer, specializing in React typescript and Server-side Rendering principles, to join our growing organization. In this role, we are looking for someone who possesses expertise in modern front-end technologies and a passion for delivery. The right candidate will have a relentless commitment to Customers through leading by example in the following areas:
Champion highly functional iterative delivery partnerships with Product, Design and other engineering teams
Build our web apps using React, ensuring responsive, accessible, performant, and amazing Customer experiences
Evangelize and propagate the use of reusable local components utilizing Tailwind design tokens to realize simplified reuse
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into scalable and robust software solutions
Partner with domain and data providers in the integration and iterative delivery of end-to-end solutions
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices through code reviews and mentorship
Advocate for the Customer through experimentation, data driven decisioning and other mechanisms
Stay updated on the latest frontend trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge
Contribute and inspire a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Responsibilities:
Gain an understanding of business context, current system s, operations/ functionality and proposed new requirements.
Build and enhance web applications using SPA and SSR web frameworks such as React and Remix
Hands on contribution to technical design/architecture, code, and overall team delivery
Influence and own technical decisions for front end application design and domain integration
Mentor team of distributed junior and senior engineers, particularly in terms of front-end design and technique
Act as a technical lead for a team of engineers
Develop concise, articulate, and detailed documentation
Act as a consultant with other teams on front end applications
Investigate and recommend guidelines for use of internal and external frameworks and new technologies , as/when they align to business needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field
8 + years of software engineering experience
Expertise in building externally facing and highly available UI experiences in React or other frameworks such as Next.js or Angular
Experience partnering with UI/UX designers and leveraging design systems, component libraries, charting libraries, and tables/grids
Proven track-record of teamwork and rapid delivery, with demonstrated examples of supporting and guiding other team members past engineering impediments
Expertise in build optimization and bundling tools
Knowledge of Event Driven Architectures, RESTful APIs, GraphQL , WebSocket, and other web communication protocols
Deep knowledge of patterns, antipatterns, best practices, and methodologies for building large scale C ustomer -facing solutions
Physical requirements: operate a computer for 8 hours per day; give and receive detailed information through verbal and written communication
Desired Qualifications:
Experience building an application using a backend for frontend (BFF) architecture and/or lambda functions
Knowledge of Cloudflare as a CDN and caching layer
Experience programming in C# and .NET technologies
Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure
FinTech or Financial Services industry experience or other highly regulated related field
For residents of San Francisco, CA the annual salary range for this role is $210,000 - $230,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
