What you'll do:
Support the Legal team with research and analysis on a variety of legal matters, including contract review and negotiation, labor and employment, privacy, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
Assist in reviewing, organizing, and summarizing contracts, policies, and legal documentation
Conduct legal research and help prepare memos, presentations, and internal guidance for cross-functional partners
Partner with teams across the business to understand legal needs and support ongoing projects
Help maintain internal legal processes, templates, and tracking tools to improve efficiency and organization
Who you are:
Currently enrolled full-time as a first year (1L) law student pursuing a J.D. program at an accredited law school in the United States
Prior work or academic experience in corporate law, privacy, compliance, or technology-related legal issues
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
Indefatigable learner with intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (experience with legal research tools is a plus)

Conducting thoughtful legal research and synthesizing complex issues into clear, practical guidance
Reviewing documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Communicating clearly and professionally with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
Exercising sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
Adapting quickly, asking thoughtful questions, and taking ownership of your work

The hourly pay for this role is $30 per hour.
