SailPoint's finance team plays a crucial role in providing support, guidance and collaboration across all organizations within the company to aid in SailPoint's mission to continue to remain an innovative presence in the cybersecurity world.Senior Revenue Analyst with the overall responsibility for initial set-up, documentation, and tracking of sales contracts in accordance with ASC 606 and the Company’s policy. Individual will be part of a team effort to perform proper compliance and documentation of all new sale global transactions.Perform end-to-end review of customer contracts (new licenses, SaaS subscriptions, add-ons, and statements of work) for revenue recognition implications under ASC 606Perform initial review of sales contractsDocument contract key data pointsHighlight contract points for additional review in accordance with company policy and authoritative accounting guidanceFollow-up with Contracts, Sales, Order to Cash and Professional Service Teams on any open items related to deal completionComplete deal analysis memos, document key terms, and highlight non-standard items requiring escalationStand-alone Selling Price (SSP) Monitoring – maintain on-going detail and analysis database of transactions to support SSP by revenue streamAssist with monitoring and tracking qualitative deal information used for analysis under accounting revenue guidanceReview stand-alone statement-of-work(s) and document initial revenue conclusion related to impact with any related license or SaaS contract and coordinate proper revenue treatmentAssist in the documentation, creation, and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and controlsCreate detailed reporting as needed for management purposesAssist Finance Ops Team with any transactional questions and renewals analysis as requestedPrepare supporting documentation for audit and tax requests as neededPerform other duties and projects related to role as assignedRequired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred2–5 years of relevant experience in revenue accounting, or technical accounting (public accounting + industry experience + academic welcome)Understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles; SaaS/software industry experience highly preferredExcellent organization skills and detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple, competing tasks simultaneouslyExperience with an Accounting ERP system, experience with NetSuite a plusExcellent communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionallyStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.)Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and documentationExperience with SSP analysis, SOX documentation, or credit review processes is a significant plusStrong analytical skills and leadership qualitiesBenefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD): $73,500 - $105,000 - $136,500Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.Benefits Overview1.
