The role oversees IR initiatives across earnings, investor engagement, market and shareholder analysis, and external partnerships, while providing direction, prioritization, and oversight across the IR team. This position bridges execution and strategy by translating financial performance, market dynamics, and investor feedback into insights that inform management discussions and support effective investor communications.*This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, with an expectation of 2-3 in-office days per week and additional on-site presence as needed. Relocation assistance is available and should be completed within a six (6) month period or a mutually agreed upon time.Responsibilities:IR DeliverablesLead cross-functional execution of earnings, investor days, and other major investor-facing deliverablesLead development of financial content, executive remarks, presentations, Q&A, and supporting materialsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align and approve materials prior to releaseOversee accurate and timely publication of IR materials to internal and external distribution channelsInvestor Engagement & Market InsightsParticipate in meetings with investors and sell-side analysts, representing the company with credibility and accuracySynthesize investor feedback, analyst commentary, and market sentiment, ensuring insights are elevated for management and the BoardGuide peer benchmarking, disclosure analysis, and equity research review to assess competitive positioning and evolving investor expectationsOversee investor targeting strategy and quarterly shareholder ownership analysis, focusing on composition, trends, and implicationsOperational LeadershipOversee day-to-day IR operations by setting priorities, improving workstreams, and ensuring accountability across the teamProvide direction and escalation support to junior team members, ensuring consistency, quality, and development of team outputManage relationships with vendors and external partnersServe as a cross-functional partner to maintain alignment on messaging, data integrity, and disclosure controlsDrive continuous improvement of IR processes, tools, and workflowsExperience:Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related finance experience with a bachelor’s degree, including 3-6 years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceBackground in investor relations, investment banking, or equity researchDemonstrated ability to manage projects, coordinate cross-functional deliverables, and oversee work from junior team membersExperience preparing and reviewing executive and external-facing materialsExperience engaging with the investment community strongly preferredExperience translating scientific content into investor messaging strongly preferredRequirements:Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret financial models, company financial statements, and market data, applying knowledge to convince stakeholders on desired outcomesExcellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to persuade others in sensitive and complex situations while preserving relationshipsAdvanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP) and PowerPointFamiliarity with financial software platforms (e.g., Nasdaq IR Insight, FactSet, Bloomberg)Knowledge of data interpretation software (e.g., Tableau) and proven ability implementing AI tools into workflowsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail, accountability, and responsiveness, with a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvementMust be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
