About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, ERP & Finance Systems to be a part of our growing Data Platform & Governance team. You will be responsible for owning end-to-end ERP architecture, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional support across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), inventory management, fulfillment, and operational workflows. This leader will be accountable for aligning system design, controls, and data integrity with the needs of our high-growth consumer business preparing for increased scale, automation, and financial rigor.
This role will join Hungryroot’s Data Platform & Governance team and you will report directly to our Senior Director of Data Platform & Governance. In this critical role you will guide the strategy, governance, and ongoing optimization of our NetSuite-based ERP environment as the company grows and invests in its infrastructure and scalability. This role acts as a connective tissue across Finance, Inventory, Fulfillment Operations, and Supply Chain, ensuring systems evolve cohesively as the company scales. We are looking for a systems leader and experienced data governance manager with deep NetSuite expertise, proven ERP governance experience, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions across Finance, Ops, and Data Governance & Engineering. The Senior Manager will gather requirements, define end-to-end system designs in partnership with key stakeholders, manage cross-functional delivery, and ensure data integrity and governance across platforms. Responsibilities
ERP Strategy & Ownership
Serve as the strategic platform lead for Hungryroot’s NetSuite ERP ecosystem, partnering closely with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain leaders while respecting functional system ownership where appropriate..
Build and manage the multi-year ERP roadmap, ensuring alignment to business priorities, automation goals, internal controls, and potential Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Lead ERP platform governance, release planning, configuration standards, documentation, and policy compliance.
Drive consolidation and integration efforts to establish a single source of truth across ERP, finance, inventory and operational systems.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Solution Design
Partner with Finance leadership to ensure ERP design supports leading practice financial processes across R2R, O2C, P2P, treasury, fixed assets, projects, and reporting.
Support the goals and priorities of core stakeholders across Finance, Operations Strategy, Supply Chain, and Data Governance by translating business needs into sequenced, well-governed system initiatives.
Collaborate with and support Sourcing, Food Safety, Inventory, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, and Operations Strategy teams to ensure seamless system integration across products/SKUs, inventory, quality logistics, and fulfillment center workflows.
Function as an internal consultant to business process owners, helping teams define scalable workflows, data flows, and system-enabled controls.
Implementation, Enhancements & Support
Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and change management efforts for new functionality, integrations, and process improvements.
Manage an Oracle support team and external partners to balance day-to-day support with strategic project delivery.
Maintain accountable ownership for data governance, system security, audit readiness, and potential SOX-compliant controls.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Establish standards for documentation, testing, release management, controls, and user enablement.
Champion continuous learning, platform utilization, and best-practice adoption across internal system users.
Stay current on NetSuite releases, emerging capabilities, and complementary solutions that improve automation, AI, analytics, and scalability.
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive ERP ownership experience, including 5+ years with NetSuite in a high-growth cross-functional environment
Proven leadership of ERP roadmaps, integrations, and multi-phase enhancement efforts (internal and/or partner-led)
Experience designing and scaling Finance and Operations processes in a subscription, e-commerce, retail or logistics-heavy business
Working knowledge of SQL and data structures, sufficient to reason about data flows, validate outputs, and partner effectively with technical teams
Familiarity with NetSuite scripting (SuiteScript) or tools that leverage SQL-based logic
Familiarity with SOX, controlled change management, and data governance practices
Bonus: Experience with RF-Smart, PorterLogic, Vertex, Tipalti, Enterprise Performance Management applications and other adjacent finance tech stack tools

Expected Salary Range: $128,000-$160,000 USD
