Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Web of Science Research Intelligence team. If you love building scalable solutions with a strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and leveraging AI tools for enhanced productivity, we'd love to hear from you.About You – Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software EngineeringMinimum 1 year exp in Java, Angular, Microservices.Hands-on experience with Jenkins, automated build and deployment workflows Ability to debug complex issues, analyze requirements, and provide efficient solutions.Familiarity with AWS services, cloud deployment, and infrastructure basicsIt Would Be Great If You Also HadExperience with Spring Boot and REST API developmentExposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and code review practicesFamiliarity with GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development toolsKnowledge of API design, REST conventions, and API securityWhat You'll Be Doing in This RoleDesign and Develop full-stack solutions combining Angular frontend with Java microservices backend, following best practices and architectural standards.Leverage AWS Services for cloud deployments, scaling, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code best practices.Sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.Build Microservices that are scalable, maintainable, and fault-tolerant, communicating effectively with other services.Use AI Tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase productivity.Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and other teams to deliver integrated solutionsAbout the TeamThe Web of Science Research Intelligence platform is a core product at Clarivate, providing powerful research analytics and insights to millions of global researchers and institutions.
