The student will be responsible for assisting in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of your academic studies and interests. In this role, you will gain exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment which includes developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power’s products.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the analysis, design, and optimization of test equipment subsystemsUpdate and maintain electrical schematics for test equipment and circuit boardsAssist in electrical build, debugging, and commissioning of new test equipmentAnalyze historical test data to measure test equipment reliability and detect failuresUnderstand engineering concepts and how to appropriately apply them in day-to-day projectsGain a foundational understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing and technology.Communication and CollaborationDevelop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders.Education and QualificationPursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience with electro-mechanical systems, PLCs, sensors and actuatorsUnderstanding of the fundamentals of schematics, circuit design, and analysisAbility to perform statistical analysis on data and generate conclusionsMust have reliable transportation to the officeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPossess solid hands-on approach to problem-solvingDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailExcellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivatedEstimated Base Salary Range:$21.00 - $25.00
