Our focus on innovation has established us as the global leader in DNA sequencing and array-based technologies, serving customers in the research, clinical and applied markets.You will be part of the Global Credit Control team that support our business by analyzing, identifying, maintaining, evaluating information and recommending actions.Position Responsibilities:Perform thorough, in-depth analysis for new and existing customer accounts, reviewing financial statements and recommending appropriate credit limits and payment terms.Partner with both customers and internal departments to conduct research and obtain all relevant information needed to assess customer creditworthinessDeliver meaningful, detailed credit analysis while providing efficient, timely serviceProvide lead support with Sales Representatives to address inquiries with respect to CreditPerform Master Data cleansing tasks to ensure quality and accuracyMaintain and update Credit Review Procedures and ensure complianceReview files as needed to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with Credit Review Global guidelines.Analyze customer contracts and/or purchase orders to ensure compliance to approved payment terms, identify correct Payer accounts and other AR requirementsProvide monthly reporting and analysis to the Credit ManagerSupport development and implementation of on-boarding content for new team membersOther projects and duties as assignedListed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.Position Requirements:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsA professional and customer-focused demeanor with attention to detailWorking knowledge of Dun & Bradstreet commercial credit reportsWorking knowledge of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) and ratios with an ability to apply such to the credit review process.Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision to provide accurate work while following guidelines and company policies.Must be able to adjust quickly to different work situations and shifting priorities, maintaining composure under pressure and in stressful situationsEffectively manage a high volume of email communication and phone contactProficiency in computer programs including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)A high degree of integrityMandarin is preferred due to China market coverageAll listed requirements are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities.Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:Commercial Credit experience required, including performing credit risk assessmentsB2B collections, customer service, and/or finance backgroundA business-related/Finance degree/qualification or equivalent industry experience3-5 years of directly applicable experience, preferably in the life sciences industryExperience with GetPaid and/or SAP highly desirableAnalytical skills necessary to reconcile customer trade accountsWe are a company deeply rooted in belonging, promoting an inclusive environment where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute to our mission.
