Software Engineer (full time) – Alamar Biosciences, Inc., 47071 Bayside Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94538. Work location in Fremont, CA. Design, implement and evolve C#-based web services using ASP.NET Core, including MVC Core, Web API Core, and RESTful APIs. Build user-facing components using Razor Pages and Blazor Server/Hybrid for experiment and user management interfaces. Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and product teams to define software requirements and implement control features. Implement custom identity services in accordance with OAuth RFC standards and OpenID Connect (OIDC) to ensure robust security and regulatory compliance. Design and implement robust data access services using Entity Framework Core, Dapper, and T-SQL, including the development of version-controlled, automated database update mechanisms covering indexing, data migrations, and schema modifications. Develop, maintain, enhance and ship software components including internal SDKs and NuGet packages. Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability by carrying out unit and integration tests, and conducting API security and vulnerability assessments. Requires a master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. Hands on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core, including MVC Core, Web API Core, and REST APIs; Building user interfaces and frontend components using Razor Pages and Blazor Server; Experience with Entity Framework Core and Dapper, and T-SQL including indexing, views, migrations, and automatic database updater systems; Developing and maintaining custom OAuth/OIDC servers with identity and access management features including OTP and 2FA; Unit and integration testing using xUnit or MSTest and performing API security and vulnerability assessments leveraging Burp Suite; Building and maintaining SDKs and NuGet packages; Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product teams.
