The Challenge The Compensation Partner serves as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert across all areas of Total Compensation — base pay, variable pay, sales compensation, executive pay and equity. This role provides dedicated partnership to assigned client groups while owning some administrative system responsibilities in preparation for the Workday Annual Compensation Planning cycle. The Compensation Partner also leads the design, build, and maintenance of pay structures, manages compensation compliance audits, and oversees the company’s participation in external market surveys. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape and sustain competitive, equitable, and scalable compensation programs.  Your Mission Strategic Partnership  Serve as the primary compensation advisor to assigned business groups, providing data-driven guidance on total compensation strategy, pay decisions, and job leveling.  Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to ensure pay recommendations support business objectives, internal equity, and budget alignment.  Deliver insights on market competitiveness, promotion planning, and organization design to support long-term talent strategy.   Compensation Design & Program Management   Design, build, and maintain pay structures and job architecture frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization.  Administer compensation programs across base, incentive, and equity components, ensuring alignment with the company’s total rewards philosophy. Conduct regular pay equity reviews and compliance audits to promote fairness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.  Configuration & Annual Planning Cycle   Lead end-to-end Workday Annual Compensation Planning including design, configuration, testing, launch, and cycle close.  Collaborate with HRIS to ensure data integrity, user readiness, and seamless execution of merit, bonus, and equity cycles.  Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and identify post-cycle improvement opportunities for greater efficiency and user experience.  Market Benchmarking & Survey Management   Lead participation in compensation surveys (e.g., AON, Mercer, Radford), ensuring accurate job matching and timely submission.  Analyze external market data to inform pay range updates and maintain competitive positioning across global markets.  Manage and maintain market pricing databases, ensuring alignment between internal job profiles and external benchmarks.  Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement   Conduct compensation compliance audits to ensure adherence to internal controls, pay equity standards, and applicable labor regulations.  Develop and deliver compensation reports, dashboards, and insights for HR, Finance, and executive stakeholders.  Identify process and system enhancements to improve data accuracy, governance, and overall employee experience.  Lead the creation of job aids, visuals, and learning tools that promote comprehension of compensation programs.  You Have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field or combination of experience and education.  5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, ideally within technology or high growth global organization.  Strong understanding of total compensation design, market pricing, job architecture, and pay structure methodology.  Hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation — configuration, testing, and planning cycle management.  Advanced analytical and Excel skills; experience with compensation market data tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford, Salary.com).  Excellent consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.   Completion of or Progressing towards Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.  For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
